Boxed Garden Perennials Ltd wants to make our customer experience as friendly and satisfying as possible. In order to do this we have tried to keep the delivery cost as low as possible for our customers, but as postage and freight involves third parties, unfortunately we cannot always guarantee the service. If you have any problems with the arrival of your plants please contact us as soon as possible.
However, we try and adhere to the following policies and procedures.
Returns
With all our plants and products we offer a full replacement 30 day guarantee. If for some reason you are not happy with the quality of the products that we have supplied to you, please let us know straight away and return the plants to us with a copy of the tax invoice or packing slip. We will then replace any defective goods or provide a refund.
Note: Returns of a product for a refund or exchange must be made within 5 working days of receipt of the product, and must be in a new condition with the invoice or packing slip attached.
Damaged Goods
If any of our products reach you in a damaged condition, please contact us immediately so we can put in a claim with the Courier company. We will then happily send a replacement to you.
Packaging
Packaging is included as part of the freight costs.
Freight Costs
We ship our plants throughout NZ but due to Courier charges, we have set up 5 different shipping zones.
Due to ever changing delivery costs we reserve the right to increase our delivery charges at any time.
When you create an order you will be asked to choose your shipping address and the choices are as follows;
- Christchurch
- North Island
- North Island Rural
- South Island
- South Island Rural
Delivery costs vary according to the quantity of plants bought and the location where the products are to be delivered to. A table of these costs can be seen below. Please note this is an indication only.

International Freight Costs
Sorry, but we are unable to supply plants outside of New Zealand due to International regulations.
Estimated Delivery Time
Our chosen delivery method is by Courier service. Please see the chart below for estimated delivery times. Please note, this is a guide only and delivery times may vary. We endeavor to ship your order within 24 hrs of receiving it and you will be contacted if there is any delay in dispatching your goods. If you require an overnight courier delivery please email us prior to placing your order and we can advise on charges for this service.
South Island : 1 - 4 working days
North Island : 2 - 5 working days
NOTE:
Please note that we do not send North Island deliveries after Wednesday or South Island deliveries after Thursday. This is to ensure that your plants reach you in pristine condition and are delivered to you prior to the weekend.
